09 Days Amboseli,Aberdare,Naivasha and Maasai Mara Safari
This safari takes you to three national parks and introduces you to one of the Rift Valley Lakes, Lake Naivasha. Amboseli National Park is renowned for its large herds of elephant and Buffalos among other wildlife. It’s also described as the best place to photograph Mt Kilimanjaro. Aberdare safaris showcase the beauty of Kenya pristine forest full of wildlife and birds. The lodge which is a Tree hotel gives you an exceptional wildlife watching experience. Wild animals come to drink at a floodlight water hole where you watch them from the comfort of your room or the lodge terrace. The activities in Naivasha include a walking safari and a boat ride in the Lake. The walk is done amongst wild animals giving you the original feel of safari. The safari takes you further south to Maasai Mara through the Maasai Country. You will get to see en route the local Maasai herding their livestock. The drive is through the Maasai community land. They have a have a unique culture which has withstood the test of time despite the influence of modern ways of life. Mara is a great destination for wildlife with hundreds of them roaming the expansive savannah. There is the annual wildebeest migration that happens from mid June to October.
You will be met on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or be picked from your hotel by our driver guide. After the safari briefing, you will depart to Amboseli National Park arriving in good time for lunch. Later in the afternoon at 1600hrs, you will have an evening game drive until sunset.
You will have a full day in Amboseli National Park: You will have a 0630hrs morning game drive returning to the lodge for breakfast. You will have time at leisure until lunch. Later at 1600hrs you will have an afternoon game drive until late in the evening.
0730hrs after breakfast, you will depart to Aberdare National Park via Nairobi. You will arrive in time for lunch at Aberdare Country Club which is a base hotel for The Ark. After lunch you will be transferred to The Ark for game viewing and overnight by the lodge guide and vehicle. In the afternoon through the evening you will enjoy the game viewing as they came at the water whole which is floodlit at night. Note- you only need a soft bag with overnight essential. The other bags will be left at the Aberdare Country Club. You will also say goodbye to your driver guides since you will be seeing them the next morning as the lodge driver guides take charge.
0630hrs you will have a morning tea before being transferred to the base hotel for a full breakfast. Thereafter you will connect with your driver guide and depart for Lake Naivasha with picnic stopover in Nyahururu. On arrival you will have lunch and later in the afternoon, have a boat ride and a tour of the Crescent Island.
0730hrs after breakfast, you will depart for Maasai Mara game Reserve arriving in good time for lunch at a camp. You will proceed with an afternoon game drive from 1600hrs en route to your overnight lodge checking in at sunset.
Day 06 and 07:
You will explore the Mara with a morning game drive at 0630hrs and an afternoon game drive at 1600hrs. All meals at the lodge with leisure time between the game drives. Option extra cost activities while in Mara include a visiting a Maasai village or doing a balloon flight that end with a champagne breakfast on landing early in the morning
We depart from our safari camp and take a morning game drive through the Maasai Mara Reserve. Then we return to bustling Nairobi, arriving at about 14:00 in the afternoon. Head to a Nairobi hotel for late lunch. After the late lunch and a bit of relaxing, we shall head to the spa for a soothing and relaxing massage. This will take the better part of the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the resort.
Day 09: Departure
After breakfast depart to the airport for your return journey.
